Effective: All sales of live birds are final once the birds leave our ranch. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

All Sales Are Final

Because live animals can be exposed to disease, stress, or improper care once they leave our property, we cannot accept returns or exchanges of birds under any circumstances. By completing checkout, you acknowledge and accept this condition of sale.

Inspection Window

You must inspect every bird at the time of pickup or delivery. If you have any concern about the health, count, sex (where specified), or condition of a bird, raise it before the birds are loaded for transport (pickup) or off-loaded at your property (delivery). Concerns raised after the birds leave our possession cannot be addressed.

Pre-Shipment Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order before we have set aside or transported birds for you, contact us as soon as possible. Eligible refunds are processed back to the original Stripe payment method, less any non-recoverable processing fees. Once birds have been crated, loaded, or delivered, the order is no longer eligible for cancellation or refund.

Biosecurity Requirements

To protect both our flock and yours, the following biosecurity terms apply to every order:

  • No farm visits without an appointment. Unannounced visits are not permitted. All pickups happen at a designated, sanitized location on the property.
  • Clean transport equipment. Crates, carriers, and trailers brought for pickup must be clean and disinfected. We reserve the right to refuse loading into equipment that appears contaminated.
  • No co-mingling at pickup. Do not bring other birds, poultry, or game birds with you to the ranch.
  • Quarantine recommended. We recommend that you quarantine new birds from any existing flock for at least 30 days and observe them for signs of illness before integration.
  • Disease disclosure. If your property has had a confirmed avian disease outbreak (including Avian Influenza, Newcastle Disease, or Mycoplasma) within the past 12 months, you must disclose this before pickup or delivery. We may decline or postpone the order to protect both flocks.
  • Regulatory compliance. You are responsible for any state or federal permits, health certificates, or movement requirements that apply to game birds in your jurisdiction.

Health Guarantee

Our birds are raised on open Texas pasture and are inspected by our team before release. We do not provide a written health guarantee beyond the inspection at pickup/delivery. Once birds are in your care, their health depends on housing, feed, water, predator protection, biosecurity, and other factors outside of our control.

Stripe Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute through Stripe or your card issuer for an order that has been delivered or picked up, we will provide Stripe with proof of fulfillment, including signed pickup/delivery records and this policy.
